Megan rarely ventured there in all of her years working at the Ministry. The only exceptions happened to be when the Department required her help. The work done down here always made her curious though she wasn’t one to pry in their business. As it was, she was a tad familiar with the floating candles and there being no receptionist. The creepy light made her wrap her arms around herself; it was a reflex act of self-protection.
Now, where was Flamsteed?
He would be meeting her here so there was no Room’s name that she had to speak in order to reach him. Probably he was running late. Maybe he was lurking around here somewhere. “Mr. Flamsteed?” There was nothing like good old fashioned calling to get his attention. |
