She knew he was watching him and she also knew that he was having some fun. Evangeline was never the type to cause trouble and he knew that. But he also knew that she could. And that was her point.

She glanced back at him on the sofa one last time, a corner of her lips turned up into a smile. And then she gave in.

Stepping back, Evangeline sat herself right on Angelo's lap, her legs crossing politely and her arm gracefully draping around his shoulders. She wondered if he expected her to give in. He always seemed to know what her intentions were.

"Happy?"
