Default Charing Cross Road

Generally bustling with activity, this street in central London is relatively close to Tottenham Court Road. It isn't uncommon for wizardkind to venture onto this street to gain access to Diagon Alley by means of the Leaky Cauldron, which has been sandwiched and magically hidden between an old bookstore and a record shop. Should you choose to go about getting to Diagon Alley the "old fashioned" way (meaning you decide to not make use of Apparition or Floo Powder), Charing Cross Road is your gateway to a little piece of the wizarding world.

There are, of course, numerous other nooks and crannies worth exploring out in the Muggle world. Scattered throughout this particular street are a number of well-known bookshops, music stores, theatres, galleries, salons, restaurants and pubs, and food markets. The north end of Charing Cross Road features the Phoenix Theatre; the middle of the street hosts the infamous Hippodrome Casino; and Trafalgar Square can be found to the south.

As always, remember to look and behave like a Muggle when out and about London. The fines for revealing oneself to non-magic folk are quite hefty.
