 Fluttery Pegasi
With the last few notes, Quinn brought the piece to a close and removed the bow from the strings, relaxing as she did so. Oh, yes. Quinn glanced up at the walls, pleased and satisfied. The acoustics in here worked well. It might not be the Room of Requirement, but this will do wonderfully until she actually found it.
Now she had a practice spot all to herself, and she planned on practicing another piece. But first a short break. Quinn lowered her violin and turned around to where she had left the case beside her bag, and jumped halfway to the ceiling. "Merlin!"
Apparently, Quinn didn't have this spot all to herself, or rather more likely had attracted attention like she had in the trophy room. The older boy standing in the doorway even had a prefect badge. What was it with her playing always seemingly luring prefects?
Once her heart had returned to its normal, resting rate, Quinn arched an eyebrow at the Prefect. "Well? It's customary for an audience to give some reaction, isn't it? Applause, or booing or something?"
She did not yet realize one of her best friends was sitting and reading just outside the door.
