Kat had caught the sight of Olly's sandwich, and it made her wonder why she didn't even bother bringing a snack of her own from the refreshments table at the break room. Been living for three decades, and sometimes the 'adulting' part was still weird.

She nodded to Olly's response. The ministry life was one she had to take time to adjust to at first, but now it all seemed like clockwork. "Uneventful so far," Kat shared, rubbing on the tip of her nose. "Got a pile of files on places we have to check out. Ranger stuff." Really, it was the bright side of her job here at the Ministry. They had more field work as environmental rangers, and a load of paperwork on top too.
