The bats, like a small puff of ominous dark clouds, descended towards him.
Normally it would be a TERRIFYING sight, and he will admit that it made his heart race a bit, but they started to circle him and the fruit salad on the floor and he kinda felt a bit like Bruce Wayne discovering the batcave for the first time. What a feeling it is, a different sort of exhilarating!
But soon the bats has settled into feeding and he definitely had more than 5 around his little makeshift smorgasbord. "Up here, get up here guys..." he said as he took a bit of the smushed fruit salad from the floor and distributed them onto the floating limbs. There was so many of them he had to take a couple more floating limbs to accommodate them all. By the time he was done, he had 8 bats on the limbs plus one really stubborn one lapping up the leftovers on the floor. 9 bats. Plus maybe a couple more who just did the whole eat-and-run thing and has gone back up the ceiling. Not bad eh?
And it was time to go. He wanted to stay a bit more but it was getting late and even he could feel the exhaustion from a full day's classes at this point. He tried pulling together all the leftover fruit salad on the floor to be cleaned up but that one lone bat thats still gorging on the pile wouldnt leave, if anything it got more dead set to staying put given that his food pile has grown quite a bit. "Wow. Ok. You're the Garfield of Bats. Fine have at it. "
And with that he turned to back towards the cave entrance and wave goodbye to the Creature man "Great class Professor Wayland thanks! G'night sir!"
