The dummies, though animated, weren't giving up anytime soon.

There was an increase in the number of shield charms that went up by a number of students which brought about its own consequences as well. Though they protected the students well, some spells hit the shields and ricocheted off in various different directions. One, Furnunculus, hit the shield charm and instead, bounced off in the direction of the frozen Zita in the middle of the room. Another, a Tickling Hex, bounced off of another shield charm and headed towards an unsuspecting Natalie who might have another problem on her hands.....

Stunning Spells were the next popular spell to be cast, it seemed. The tactics of one Abey from outside the classroom hit one of the dummies that was passing by. The dummy fell and landed, with a soft THUMP, in the snow right near one Finn. The two weren't safe, however, when at the next moment, one of the three Stunning Spells cast by Scarlett missed one of the dummies and flew towards Zoryn, instead.

Scarlett's other two Stunning Spells were doing a slightly better job. They did work, yes, but one hit a dummy the same time as Patrick's Stunning Spell hit it and as a result, the force caused the dummy to topple over.....

..... and right towards Derf, herself. Chaos was a good word for this.

But spells weren't the only ones flying in different directions. Bewitched snowballs cast by Vi and Skylar, though aimed at the dummies, also flew to some unsuspecting students as well. Théo, Jessa and Alessandro might want to watch out.

Meanwhile, Cassie's spellcasting was fierce, if anything. The Stunning Spell had been cast with so much force that even though it had stunned a dummy, the dummy was forced to fly backwards and near the trio of students (Théo, Jessa and Alessandro) that were being targeted by snowballs.

The combination of Stupefy and a blasting spell from Zarina, though successful, was ill-aimed. The dummy she had blasted back to the wall of the room was a dummy that was standing right in front of one Bel. The Hufflepuff wasn't as safe from attack as she might think.....

But students weren't the only ones hit in this process. The number of dummies facing them were starting to dwindle as well. A Stunning Spell, cast by Olivia, hit a dummy squarely in its chest. The dummy froze in its spot but the battle didn't stop there. No sooner had it frozen, then the dummy was hit by the Seize and Pull Charm, causing it to start toppling over. The dummy toppled onto the dummy on its left, who toppled onto the dummy on its left, who toppled over...... a domino of toppling dummies, if you will.

It was a shame that only one was stunned.

Two of the dummies shook themselves and stood up again but this, too, was cut short. A Disarming Spell cast by Emma managed to hit the back of an oncoming dummy with so much force that, along with the spells and snowballs, it too joined the fray of flying objects. Anyone nearby, particularly Olivia and Hanna, might want to watch out.

Vivian's spells managed to tie up an unsuspecting dummy and trap it in a cage. But the dummy wasn't about to give up so easily: while it was still allowed to move, it moved to the edges of the cage and tried to push it with all its might. The dummy, and the cage, wobbled and toppled right over towards Shera and Emmalyn, who were both still laying on the ground. Maybe Daehyun had the right idea in trying to help them out.....

Matt's enthusiastic spellcasting was both useful and caused some problems at the same time. A multitude of his spells hit a few oncoming dummies, saving those nearby from being attacked. However, the Stunning Spell, though aimed in the right direction, ended up hitting a snowball that was thrown by Rylee that managed to get in its line of light.

The Incarcerous spell caused some more problems. Roped flew out of the Gryffindor's wand but instead of just tying a dummy up in ropes, it tied a stunned dummy up with one Derf, who was also laying on the ground. Oops?

Even through all of this, spells were still flying around, lighting up the classroom in an array of lights and flashes. Those who had shield charms around them (Magnolia, Ronan, Skyler, Daisy, Hattie, Tenacius, Diandra) might still want to be careful. Shield charms don't hang around forever and with dummies and snowballs flying around as well, no one was safe.

Maybe a Protego Rampart was a good idea.....

OOC: Feel free to continue/make up as much as you want. I'm going to continue with the lesson properly a little later tomorrow <3
