Honestly, by the fifth pancake Junia was feeling pretty content. It was the happy, full-bellied feeling of someone who'd eaten the perfect amount of breakfast. The thing was, now that Alyce had decided to try and show her up at their house table, the sixth year simply COULDN'T bring herself to stop eating. The younger snake was smaller, so surely she wouldn't have to eat TOO many more to beat her, right?
