Callum Turner, who will take on the part of Theseus Scamander (older brother of Newt) in the
Fantastic Beasts film series,
revealed a small tidbit about his early connection to star Eddie Redmayne, whom he admitted auditioning with for the Auror role.

He says he'd never met Redmayne until he auditioned for the Fantastic Beasts sequel, but they actually have a lot in common: "We grew up about seven minutes from each other, but never saw each other. If you’re from exactly the same spot in the world, I guess there’s an energy that’s similar." Plus, they live in the same part of town now as adults.
Turner completed promotion of his new movie,
The Only Living Boy in New York, out now in New York City and Los Angeles, and returned to the UK to continue filming the sequel to
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them at Leavesden Studios.
