Even though she should have waited until after the speech, the fourth year slytherin rose from her seat.

Maxton blinked in shock and confusion when Skylar claimed their parents had been at Hogwarts together. How did she know that? Was she a stalker!? His mum and dad had been prefects when they were at school, he supposed Skylar may have seen their names in the Trophy Room or something. Carden wasn't a particularly popular surname after all. He hoped that was the case and that she wasn't a stalker.

He was about to ask her when the older girl asked him to save her seat and hurried off.

Maybe he ought to do a runner as well. The Bloody Baron had decided to turn up and the Slytherin ghost gave Maxxie the heebie jeebies.
