Connor had made it his point to keep on ignoring this girl… Addison she had said her name was. Yet he found his blue eyes occasionally darting towards her. He hoped that she didn’t see when he did that. He had absoloutely no interest in her or anyone else. Connor forced his eyes to remain staring out at the sky as he hoped this would discourage the girl from trying to make any further conversations.

That was not to be the case. “Do you always talk this much?’’ the boy asked, his eyes remaining fixated upon the outside. He outright ignored her question. His wellbeing was of no concern to her. He was being rude yet his tone of voice was soft. Because that was how he had been over the years. He had changed from that outgoing person ever since he moved in with his cousin.

The change suited him quite fine.
