Olivia was completely oblivious to her opponents angst over Jacen Reed. See, she didn't see the problem, given that Azura had her boyfriend, Chris. So, surely she wasn't hung up over Liv showing interest in him. Friends should be happy for one another....right? She would've been, anyway.

Also, she had her eyes GLUED on the Ravenclaw and her wand. The rumor was that Azura fancied herself competent in nonverbal spells...and as a Ravenclaw, Liv felt that anything was possible; due to the knowledge that as a house, they were known to be crafty and overly talented. Actually, she could vouch for this, with Rooney, Corbin, and Casper in mind. Anyway, thanks to her continued scrutiny, the wand motion for.....something was happening and without thinking, Liv popped off with "Protego!" Not to rebound, but just to protect herself. Rebounding spells took a bit more thought and she was planning to get deep in the zone here. No time for all that. #Gryffindor

"Mollaire!" Battling the Obscuro! spell with her own Cushioning Charm, because it provided an invisible cushion barrier, she quickly turned her wand onto herself, shouting the incantation to make herself Feather-Light. Unlike others, this was a technique she'd learned through Charlotte Kettleburn directly. So, it was definitely secondhand nature at this point, and something she 'never left home without'. Basically.

Whew, her heart was racing, excitement and adrenaline taking hold of her lithe dancer's frame. Olivia had known this girl would be a good opponent. So, as a byproduct, it had made her more eager. It was always good when people could be evenly matched!

Shifting around on the arena floor, she whipped out with her wand, casting the Ears to Kumquats spell. It was Transfiguration and not at all her strongest subject, by far, but with it being lower level, she'd managed it a few times with success. Here's hoping!
