Time for another Defence class! It was probably the only class he’d attend without coaxing from…himself. It was one of the core subjects anyway so he had no choice but to attend Professor Hirsch’s class. He didn’t want to raise any more concern if he’d go missing, yes? That would be disastrous. Approaching the threshold, Jace poked his head first to make sure that there were no golems ready to whip his head off. After he deemed it was safe to go inside, he walked towards where the others have congregated, and stopped dead in his tracks the moment he saw his Head of House.

Why did he feel so awkward towards that man? He’s the best sensei next to his other teachers in Japan, so why was he being uncomfortable?

Clearing his throat, the 14 year old approached the man with his head lowered and offered his greetings. “Good day, sensei.” Without lifting his head, he saw the three boxes near Hirsch’s feet, and his eyes grew wide as saucers. “Kyu...Kyudo?”Jace’s face beamed because aside from Kendo, Kyudo was his next favourite sport. It was for…relaxing and meditating purposes though. The Ravenclaw immediately shook his head, as soon as he realized that he was still in the presence of his Head of House.

Quickly, he scuttled to one of the mats and busied himself by reading his Defense book.
