It was...hilarious...for some reason...and precisely why the Hufflepuff erupted into a fit of giggles at the sight. Something she would have never done had it not been for the Jelly Brains Jinx still in effect and influencing her rational.

Laughter ensuing and eyes uncrossing, Paige had no real time to lavish her wand and perform any sort of defensive spells against Maggie's casting. Her shaky reflexes were just enough so that she was able to cooly sidestep with a small spin out of the range of both spells - although she once again came dangerously close to stepping RIGHT off the platform once again.

Pivoting, eyes crossing again, Paige raised her wand not to Maggie but the ground beneath her side of the platform. "Spongify!" Eyes still a bit wild, the Hufflepuff followed with a weak Stinging Jinx as she stumbled away from the edge and back towards the middle of the platform.

Still giggling like a maniac.
