It wasn't that she was in trouble at all... More like she had a cool idea to ask her professor for... Well, it was a favor really.. But still... she had never had to go to a teachers office before and the thought of her having just possibly interupting whatever it was that her professor was doing.... Ahhh crap! here goes the anxiety... Maybe she should have brought some back up for moral support... Oh well, too late now, eh?
Kay was utterly lost in the book she was reading. She had been so for the past half an hour. It was a book Cynthia had acquired for her as promised and it was rather entertaining. Not to mention each word she read held her attention. Such was the effect of a brilliant author. The only thing that brought her out of her reverie was the knocking at her office door.
Kay startled, for a moment quite forgetting where she was. She took a few seconds to gather herself. "Come in!'' the Professor called as she marked her page with a bookmark that had an image of a rainbow printed on it. |
