 Fluttery Pegasi
Hadley walked into the Great Hall with vaguely bored familiarity of having done this four times before. Twice at the start of the term and twice at the end of term. The feasts, even with whatever chaos did or didn't happen during them, were pretty much all the same. Speeches happened. Food happened. Point loss happened. It was downright routine by now.
Stopping about midway down the Ravenclaw table, Hads took a seat. She'd move if Rooster sat down next to her again. Pride only got her stuck next to him at the end of term feast last year. It wasn't worth it.
As she waited for the others to show up, and the sorting ceremony to start, Hadley scanned the staff table. Blinked. And scanned it again.
What the...? Where was everyone? She didn't see Professor Ichihara, or Drapes, or Ansley, or Primeaux. No Primeaux!? Then who was going to be their new HoH? He'd been the most likely candidate in Hadley's mind. Wait, was...? She scanned the table again and locked onto Hirsch. Oh good. He was still here. She gave him a wave. And Newton was there too. Maybe Newton was their HoH? Or maybe, just maybe...it was Sir Knight. She held her hands together against her mouth and said a brief silent prayer to whomever was listening to let it be Hirsch.
