32. Common Room

It was late at night when Penelope snuck down into the common room, fuzzy blue blanket wrapped around her shoulders, bringing her journal with her. Sitting on one of the couches by the fire, Penelope opened her journal and started writing in it. Onto the page went all of her private thoughts no one would ever find out about. Tearing the page from her journal, Penelope crumpled the page into a ball and threw it in the fire. She sat there and watched as it burned, fire licking the edges of the paper as it blackened and turned to ashes.
