Did Frankie realise that these Auror duels were partly for his benefit? Because it wouldn't be great for Frankie to go into Auror training without some experience on what it was like to duel like an Auror. Here's hoping that by dueling against one, he was able to pick up tips that a non-Auror like Hirsch couldn't give him.

And the boy didn't let the man down.

A proud smirk was in place on the man's face as he watched the duel take place. Spells were shot here and there and he was proud to see that the Gryffindor was making use of his surroundings and not backing down in the process. He was also glad that Miss Cambridge was putting the boy through his paces because a challenge was what he needed. Nothing too life threatening but a challenge nonetheless.

It was a pity that the smoke had made it very hard for him to see some of the duelling action. It was also a pity that it had to end the way it did.

There was no use for the magical shield. Not now, anyways. Rushing forwards and towards Frankie, Hirsch cast a heating charm on the Gryffindor to help with the unfreezing process. "Excellent! That was remarkable!" He was proud, to say the least. "Thank you for your time, Miss Cambridge. I really appreciate you coming in today." And he did want to hear her verdict.

"Well done, Frankie," he said, patting the boy on the shoulder, "I hope that helped you, given your chosen career choice." Who knew, maybe he could be shadowing Miss Cambridge one day.
