7. Confundus

James walked back out from the kitchen, his face creased in confusion.
"What is it?" Lily asked.
"I don't remember why I was going into the kitchen. I hate when that happens."
Lily gave him a look. "JAMES! The grapes!" she said. It was the sixth time he had forgotten what he was doing.
James nodded "The grapes, of course," and he spun on his heel back to the kitchen.

He paused and turned around again.

Lily sighed and heaved herself up. "Grapes! Kitchen! Your pregnant wife wants grapes James!" She looked at him, hands on hips. "Oh forget it I'll get them myself."

Into the kitchen she went to get the bowl of grapes. There was a roar of laughter and shouts. Lily slowly made her way into the living area to see James and Sirius wrestling on the groung. She popped a grape into her mouth and leaned on the doorframe.

"Well this is all very entertaining," she muttered, getting her fix of Marauder drama for the day.
"You're sooooo slow Prongs!"
James prodded him in the ribs. "Maybe that's because someone was confunding me!"
"SIRIUS! Don't ever mess with a pregnant woman's cravings," Lily said through giggles.
