Smug Ravenclaw was smug. Nicky smirked as Hady got tossed back, satisfied that her spell had directly hit. But with the Slytherin on the ground, Nicky couldn't tell what, or in what direction, Hady was casting.

She moved around the arena, assuming it would make it difficult for the girl to hit her, unaware that the girl had cast a homing spell. And so she took the full hit of her casting, having been caught by surprise.

"You'll... have... to do... better... than... that..." she managed to squeak out, everything feeling near frozen. Straining, she managed to twist her wrist enough to get her wand pointed at her own foot as she muttered finite.

Rolling her shoulders and narrowing her eyes as she bounced to get feeling back in her limbs, she shot off a quick "Anteoculatia" intending it as a distraction. While the girl dealt with that, Nicky flourished her wand a second time, almost inaudibly muttering deprimo under her breath.

Rules against injury? What rules? Nicky was fully attempting to break the girl's leg and end this. Excessive was... subjective, after all.
