Lynley needed to speak with him. About what he wasn't fully sure but Evan didn't appear to be to fussed about the boss wanting to talk to him. Whatever it was, was obviously important but not so much so as she hadn't sought him out sooner. Therefore the man wasn't fearing that he was in any trouble.
"Of course," he offered as a simple reply slightly inclining his head in her direction. Lots of work ahead of him. Was he ready for the challenge that lay ahead? Probably not but he would fulfill whatever responsibilities were his. Like he always taught his daughter when something needed to get done then completely to the best of you abilities.
