It was Christmas morning! Adi had bounded out of bed like a kid, excited to get to his presents. He had planned on skipping his usual morning run today because he had so many presents to owl to his friends and his and Benny’s parents. After uselessly trying to wake his other half with ‘good morning kisses’ and was grumbled at and pushed away, Adi had given up and decided to go shower and then make them both breakfast. This wasn’t the first time his boyfriend had refused to be woken and Adi always found it highly amusing.

In the kitchen, Adi cheerfully hummed to himself, bustling about making all of Benny’s favourite breakfast stuff. Why? Because in addition to today being Christmas, it was also their first year anniversary of being a couple. He was smiling like a goofball to himself as he zoned back to last year Christmas. What a present he had gotten in the form of a confession from Benny about his feelings.

When he was done making their food, Adi bounded over to their living room and awesomely dressed Christmas tree. He supposed he should start sending off those presents now… Conrad had quite a job to do. The poor owl. He would get a well-deserved rest and treats when he was all done. But Adi paused as his eye caught all the presents that had been delivered so far. He was tempted to open them but he wanted to wait on Benny. Speaking of Benny and presents… Adi had gotten him a stuffed dragon. Ya know, to replace that dreadful one that was given to him by a certain someone. He sat himself down on the floor and reached for the somewhat awkwardly wrapped dragon. He was positive Benny would like this one more.

And yep! It was still Adi’s ambition to set the one his boyfriend currently owned on fire
