anyone/everyone Unforgivably Cursed | adultescent Oliver wasn't sure what to expect at this Ministry orientation, but this was.. well, a little bit of a nightmare. So many people. And people that he did not know. In fact, he didn't know even one of them and socializing was one of his least favorite things. But he was trying to make a good first impression because he really needed this job, so he took a deep breath and decided to dive right in.
There was quite the crowd gathered over here so the 39 year old knew there had to be something good and he wandered over, keeping to the outer edges of the hoard of people. Oh. It appeared they were doing some sort of bingo and he picked up one of the cards, his eyes quickly scanning the instructions.
That was one way to try to get to know people he supposed, though he wondered how many simply got a signature before moving on to the next person without really talking to someone. Maybe the cupcake was worth it.
He glanced at the woman (Daisy) who announced that she was a parent. Well, he had to start somewhere, didn't he? "Sure, I could use that box signed, please," Oliver said, approaching her, and he held out his empty card to her. "I'm also a parent if you'd like me to sign yours. Not allergic to chocolate though." But there were a few others that applied to him that he could sign.
