He didn't know them very well, at all, like, it wasn't his job to know them. All he knew was THIS ONE wasn't annoying like many of the others... but her name escaped him. "Penny is it?" he asked, deciding it sounded familiar.

Genny beamed up at his coolness about her ill post-food manners. Penny, though? "Genny. Tate." She corrected lightly. An older student slightly knowing her name was good enough for now. It wasn't like she was acing her homework or being the captain of the nonexistent Quidditch team, grumps. "I know your name. Zeke." So, no need for introductions.

The real use of an older student, though, would be, "So do you know any cool things about this place?"
