Something floating along on the air had caught Adam's attention. He sniffed and sniffed his way along the corridor trying to figure out what it was. It wasn't a strong smell and he doubted many others could smell it, but Adam had, among other things, a talented nose. A left turn, a flight of stairs downward, two more lefts and then finally a right at the end of a long hallway brought Adam to the source of the smell. He doubted, however, that he would find his way back to the ominous black door that led to his department.
The place looked relatively empty. A few cauldrons bubbled along a wall - the source of the burnt odd smell he had been following. He stood there, arms crossing his chest as he contemplated what the place could be. Was it a potion brewing station? Although whatever the concoction was, it smelled a bit like over boiled and burnt coffee and - stale water....
