No, actually, they do not because once a mod sees them, they will be deleted and your post count will go back down. Spam does not count as a post. If you do not know what spam is or about the other rules of the site, I suggest you head over to the Newbie and get yourself further aquainted with the site (that is the whole purpose behind the 10 post rule).
