They were moving, up... UP and UP! It was a beautiful thing when lines moved, and he took this to mean nobody was freaking out and refusing to go down... time wasters would not be appreciated.

His idea WAS pretty grand, and it would make him more motivated to go to classes knowing a break like this was on the cards. It also had other benefits too. "And we'd make it to class quicker if we had a slide from the Astronomy tower to the grounds." It would save them... especially him... a lot of time getting from the seventh floor towers down through the castle and out to the grounds. He would NEVER have to leave early to Herbology or CoMC ever again.
