Which basically was the man's was of illustrating that not every mystery had an exciting secret to be revealed. Behind every scientific inquiry there was not always a world changing revelation. Sometimes there was just nothing.
Nothing. Like what remained of that box now that the breeze through the windows was picking up and blowing pieces every which way.
"Ow her day,'' Adi read aloud after establishing that no one was going to reply to him. That or the fact that the person or persons had left long before he blew up the box. That latter part would have been better. He squinted around just to be sure he didn't notice the swish of a robe or anything. Nope, nothing.
But back to this message.
"There has to be more pieces of you around,'' the Puffer told the parchment. He looked around at the mess he had caused. GOSH! The wind was picking up the fragments! Some were going this way, some that way and some out the window!
The sixth year rushed about trying to rustle up the other parchment pieces, totally forgetting that he could try summoning them. Off in one direction he went! Nope, no parchment! Onto the next direction! Nuh uh. Next one! Hey! There was a piece, hitching a ride on the wind's tail! Adi snagged at it. Holding it against the first piece, he could see they fit snugly thought the message was still incomplete. Hmmm. Time to figure this out.
Double 'R's and 'not'.
"Rrow nother day.'' Huh? Adi repeated these strange words until gradually, they started making sense.
"Tomorrow is another day!'' Awwh, what a nice, positive message. Was this all that had been in the box though? Ugh! Now he couldn't be sure thanks to his brilliant work will blowing up the box.
