Post J.K. Rowling says real U.S. wizarding school to be revealed in Fantastic Beasts film

Long assumed as a Wizarding school, the Salem Witches' Institute - first mentioned in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire - is, in fact, not an educational facility for magical students, admitted J.K. Rowling on Saturday, but something more along the lines of Britain's Women's Institutes (WI).

Rowling did, however, allude that the name of an American wizarding school would be revealed in the upcoming Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them film, as lead Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) may meet people from said institution.

Rowling said on Pottermore than there are 11 wizarding schools worldwide, though only the following names have been released:

Quote:
• Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry (Scotland)
• Beauxbatons Academy of Magic (France)
• Durmstrang Institute (Northern Europe)
• Mahoutokoro (Japan)
• Koldovstoretz (Russia)
• Uagadou School of Magic (Africa)
• An unnamed school in Brazil
• One in the United States to be revealed in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them
• 3 other unnamed schools and locations (presumably outside of Europe since the first three listed were those mentioned as the main in that continent by Hermione Granger in Goblet of Fire)
UPDATE: Rowling tweeted a few more clues about the U.S. Wizarding school on Sunday, noting that it may relate to a Native-American tribe.
