It was cool that they were all working on something that he liked to do. But it felt weird getting through so much space so quickly. These things should take time and be savoured... enjoyed.

He peeked up from his work to see Hady still working in her book. "How're you going with it?" he asked, taking a few side steps so that he could be nearer to her.
Another thing he also kinda didn't understand was why did they all have to map the same areas? It seemed a little inefficient if timelines was the theme. Not that he was complaining, he wasn't. He liked working with people, and Hady was good people... and the rest of their team were good people too... where were they?
...
It would ave been nicer though if they could have worked with the so called expert. What was he an expert in? Handing out pencils and pads? ... He wanted to sponge up the man. And by that, he didn't mean give the man a sponge bath or sorts, he meant he wanted to LEARN from him. Soak up all the cartography wisdom. Woe is him.
