So, they had to paddle their way to class AND make an entrance?

Evie carefully set her bag on a raft and then sat in it, careful to keep her balance and not fall IN the swamp. Then she grabbed her paddles... and went FULL SPEED across the swamp. PADDLE PADDLE PADDLE PADDLE PADDLE. Splashing swampy water off the sides and out behind her and probably in front of her. The bottom of the raft scraped up against the stone floor as she came near the end, but her raft didnt stop until it came to a CRASH when it ran into the doorway of the classroom.
Evie stumbled off the raft, pleased that she didn't actually get wet, picked up her bag and carefully fixed her uniform before looking back at the slightly disheveled raft off to the side of the door. And it looked like a part of it was floating in the swamp now. Oops.
The Ravenclaw coolly walked inside the room and picked a seat in the middle. Pretty good entrance, if you asked her. |
