It was a good thing she fell for his words, because saying 'because' probably would've gotten him a different response. This one was nice, easy, simple to answer back to. "Y-yeah? G-good." He said in a matter of fact tone. It was respectful, even if that hadn't been the intent when he had walked through.

He watched more people come in, even gave a very brief wave to Puck when she noticed him from afar.

Getting praise for walking through the door was a weird one... but it was better than being told off, right? "Thanks?" Finn said slightly confused. "F-Finn." He said with a short, quick nod.
