Matt knew that at least everything would have been okay, hopefully Risa would have been able to handle the kids at least for the one day since he hadn’t thought that his wife’s best friend could entirely deal with the children but that wasn’t about to be a major concern at least for the moment. This was all a celebration, getting the opportunity to hang out with people that he hadn’t since graduation when he immediately went on an exploration of France, great travel.

As soon as he stepped into the dancing hall, with Stella’s hand in his, he remembered the weird dancing lessons that happened during one of the few terms he was here which definitely were strange and yet kind of interesting at the same time. Memories like that had been things that permanently stuck into his brain, but at least it was one of the better things. “I think coming to this reunion was a good idea, hopefully there are people that we know somewhere around here.” he commented before looking around the room and so far not exactly seeing any familiar faces but it was still early. Besides, it was a big area after all.
There was so much to be distracted by as soon as she’d set foot back onto the Hogwarts campus, even though it really hadn’t been so long since Stella had been there. Long enough that she’d gotten married and had three kids, along with had a career and then retired. The latter having been rather forced while she’d been pregnant with the twins, but then that was over now. If she hadn’t had three children to look after, she could have thought about going back to acting. She’d honestly thought about it, even part time, but then Matt was busy with his own job most of the time and the only babysitter that lived close by was Risa. Letting Caden have play dates occasionally with her best friend’s daughter was okay, but making the redhead watch all three was a new experience. In a weird way, she missed her babies, maybe even more than she was finding she’d missed Hogwarts, even if the school had basically been responsible for everything that had happened since to happen. For her babies to have been born. There were bad memories from here too, but the good outweighed those. They’d survived the hate potion, and the other obstacles and now they were back.

Back, and apparently heading straight for the dance floor which put a smile on her face. It reminded her of the dance lesson back when she was in school, and how she hadn’t been able to dance with him then. Not by any fault of their own, and there had been plenty of dances since then but it was like they could make up for it. She’d slid her arms over his shoulders and linked her hands behind his neck as he’d spoken, anyhow. “I know it was,” she replied confidently, giving him a smile. “It’s possible, but even if there aren’t we can still enjoy being here again. Can’t we?” There were a lot of people here, and maybe everyone hadn’t arrived yet. It was hard to tell, and honestly, she wasn’t looking. They could go look and see if they recognized anyone later.
