She hopped off the edge of her cart to keep it from rolling away. "My mum says that you should take loads of classes so that you can decide what you want. You can always get rid of them later. I was thinking Muggle Studies, Care of Magical Creatures, Ancient Runes... probably not Arithmancy or Div 'cause they seem so hard and you have to be 'specially gifted anyway. I'm not 'specially good at anything." Dot eyed the barrier again. "I'm scared to go through."
Thornton grinned.
"The library is great. Sometimes I just sit on the floor in in between the shelves and read." That's what he'd been doing when Paige had come in looking for books about magic kisses...
"You should come with me."
He listened to her list of classes, considering what he would take. He was fairly certain he would not have much of an option and would end up taking whatever father thought was best. But that was still a year away.
"Maybe... you just haven't figured out what you're good at yet." He shrugged.
He followed her gaze to the wall between the platforms. Dot was.. scared?
"...How come?"
