Sometimes, Jake just needed to get away from Level 2. Aside from anything else, the department had its fair share of his old schoolmates from Hogwarts, and sometimes it was just a bit much. After all, he'd done his best to get away from those who might remember him from school.
So he'd gone for a wander, eventually ending up down at the juice bar.
In his eagerness to get himself a drink, Jake somehow almost totally missed the fact that there was another human in here, probably because he was so lost in his thoughts. He cleared his throat and skirted round the woman.
"Sorry," Jake mumbled as he leaned past her for a drink of his own, though he wasn't actually sorry for anything. It was just what people always said.
The Hit Wizard poured himself orange juice and immediately took a sip, only to immediately make a disgusted 'oh sweet merlin what on earth is this travesty' kind of face.
"Blech!" This wasn't orange juice, this was PUMPKIN JUICE. Gross. Gross gross gross and also WHY. Jake took a moment to look THOROUGHLY OFFENDED by the juice, and screwed up his face like a child who'd just been forced to eat sprouts, before vanishing the juice in the glass and reaching the ACTUAL orange juice this time. He even sniffed it first, just to be sure.
How anyone could drink pumpkin juice was beyond him; that stuff tasted foul.
