Needless to say, that sabbatical had been long enough. So long she even missed a complete period of one Department Head. Go figure. But it was quite refreshing to be out doing some personal research, and she did deserve some time away from the Ministry as a whole. Magnolia has been here for quite some time, after all.
The news of a new Department Head didn't go unnoticed. It was a coincidence that the end of her sabbatical fell just with the beginning of Jasper Mitterbill's era. Or something like that.
Well, it was good to be back either way. Was that Junior Unspeakable program going to happen? Or happening now? Or not? First things first, because she had a room to check. |
