The woman was near certain of it as it had such a remarkable quality about it. She reached out a hand to touch the carpet when she was surprised to hear a voice call out her name.
Her eyes soon focused on a wizard looking in her direction and she faintly smiled at the air of familiarity he had about him. She searched her brain a moment, but she really couldn't place him and that did not sit well with her. She made it her business to know people in the industry, which she was certain this man was. She could remedy that easily though.
"It is.. please, it's Rashida," she said, extending her hand for the man's benefit.
"And you must forgive me. But have we been acquainted?" Normally she wouldn't be so informal in business arrangements unless she was more familiar with someone, but in a case such as this, he seemed to be in her corner in regards to the symposium. Why not be a little casual and friendly?
