It was time to check out the food court in the Atrium. He had a rumbling stomach to satisfy.

But, Merlin, the cafeteria was colourful! Now what colour chair was he going to sit in? As if choosing his lunch hadn't been enough serious decision-making for the first day on the job.

With a grilled chicken wrap, a piece of cheese cake, and a cup of coffee on his tray, Tancred made his way through the seating area. Where was Willy? He didn't want to eat his lunch all alone. Fortunately there was a lone brunette that looked like she needed some company. "Excuse me, miss," the man said, pointing at the yellow chair at her table with his free hand. "Mind if I join you?"

It was unusually quiet in here today, which didn't come as too great a surprise to her, had she not put in over-time hours this morning she wouldn't have been able to justify coming down for lunch. And people, were no doubt busy catching up and procrastinating at their desks with discussions of holidays and the like. How drab. It just wasn't for her to socialise.

She made short work of the first half of her sandwich, the triangle of deliciousness no match for her appetite. Washing it down with a generous swig of coffee, Emily's hazel eyes followed a man as he neared her table. There were plenty of seats elsewhere. Did he need something?

The strangers question registered with her, though she took a brief moment to contemplate a response. She didn't know what to make of the fact that he was willing to sit in a yellow chair. Yellow was simply rancid... something she'd been trying to explain to Avery for some time. It was the colour of weakness, and it was too bright and cheerful to be legal.

"Not at all," she replied but a second after he asked. He was welcome to it, who was she to stop him? Public space and all. And.... was that cheesecake on his tray? " But I'm afraid there's a toll if you sit there... a bite of your cheesecake is my price," she gestured to it. Sweets were her weakness, one she wasn't ashamed to admit. It would after all be rude to eat it in front of her, and she wasn't above helping herself to peoples foods without their express permission.
