Carter did have her attention and she was rather curious to see where his statement would land him, only, he didn't complete it. Such a shame. Either way, she could fill in the blanks herself, the effect would still be the same. "I'm glad to hear it," she replied, casually taking her seat. Despite the destitute nature of her office, and the department in general, there was something oddly charming about it.
It also came as a relief to her that Carter was done with peeing for now, though she wasn't sure how seriously she could take the auror anymore. A light grunt was all she gave in reply.
"I suggest you start with the tiling, I'd like to see my reflection on its sparkly surface." Mmhhmm. Even though the sound of sparkly was positively revolting, this was his punishment for marking her territory.
