They were in agreement with the best course of action and that put some of the pressure at ease. No point in burning any bridges which was critical when there was a chance further assistance might be needed at one moment or another. If not this case...certainly at some time down the line. And given that they had pretty much traversed the entirety of the area of Level 9 that weren't locked up tight, the job was complete regardless of them taking too much of each other's time or not. Simon followed Jasper back the way the lobby was, taking the older man's word for the direction they were to be going.

"Thank you Jasper," he returned with a nod at the wish of luck and for his assistance as well. They needed all they could get with the happenings and the scrutiny the department was under.
