Caleb was skeptical about Arithmancy. Sure it was FUN and all and they got BEARDS last time, but were they going to like...actually LEARN anything at any time? Something real useful? Because he was getting concerned. What if OWLs came and he didn't know anything???

Still, as he walked into the classroom, he immediately began to think of his lucky number. HMMM. He thought it was...EIGHT. Because. Well. No reason. He just picked it.
