The ride with the rest of his fellow students on the Beauxbatons carriage was one he enjoyed. It was comfortable to travel in and it wasn't with much difficulty that he would admit he preferred it over alongside-appiration. Gaston was proud of his school just as proud as he was of himself.
He was a traveler, or at least a part-time one in the summer. He had been all over the world and in each place he had been, he had explored. He like always were to do that around here too. A new territory he had never seen. And if he was lucky he'd found a beautiful girl or two to help him, now that was how he liked things.
It was not long before Gaston found himself in the middle of the Hogsmeade streets. He looked here and then there. 'Ze most magical inhabited city.', he thought to himself as his eyes peeked some more and then stopped at the sight of a girl.
"Bonjour, Madame." He spoke with a charm to his voice.
Sarah nearly jumped, not that he intended to give her fright, she just was not use to people talking to her, expecially not a boy. And he was French and if she allowed herself to be superficial.. he was not bad looking (that was all she could allow herself to say). And the way he said it made her heart leap.
"Bonjour.. um" what was mister in French "
monsieur". He was a Frenchmen, probably one of the exchange students.
"sorry, I don't know much French, the only words I know are about ballet... and food." She said with a very happy smile. "So, are you from Beauxbatons?" she asked.
"oh, my name is Sarah Edwards by the way, what is your name?". She was a Gryffindor after all. "
have you been here before?" she asked.
Wait, she never put out her disclaimer, the one she said when she met new people. "
by the way, I talk a lot, so if you want me to stop talking, just tell me so." Maybe not in French though, as she would be bad at that
