Well, it was true that the head girl was a bit too distracted lately with the things at Hogwarts and the study for her NEWTs, let alone the post-Hogwarts plans that seem to be constantly changing, but despite all that Louisa is there for Lily whenever she needed her. Better to hear the girl's answer first though before jumping to conclusions.
Sitting in her dark little hiding spot, Lily had to squint her eyes until they had adjusted to the presence of light. Glancing down at the kitty, the third year started to pet it, gently of course. What was she doing here? That was a good question.
"I'm waiting for Phoenix to come back." To come back with Benjy's note that said she could go home. Otherwise she would be staying in her hiding spot until everything was back to normal.
As the redhead sat there, curled up in a ball waiting for Louisa to accept the answer and head down to the great hall where everyone had to be eating by now, she just stared at the ground, absentmindedly petting Cuddles. Only by the light of the head girl's wand could one tell that the third year's face was wet, obviously with tears. She had been crying as she sat there. She was scared about the whole locked-out issue and she didn't feel nearly as safe nor as comfortable sleeping down in the great hall with everyone else.
But the third year didn't say anything to her older friend because she didn't want to add another thing to the list of stuff that the redhead knew the head girl had to do. She almost wanted to protect her ravenclaw buddy and deal with her problems on her own. The only issue with that was that Louisa was here now... and Lily didn't know what to do to fix her problems.
