Lily had never realized how cold the castle got at night, even in the winter months. It was only now that she hadn't eaten since breakfast and had been sitting in her spot for hours that she noticed that the castle got cold fast.
Shivering as she sat there, the redhead didn't even flinch when somebody cursed nearby and then called out to find out who it was. Nobody needed to know that she was only going to sit there all night and not leave the spot until she got her owl back. The only problem was that the somebody wasn't just walking past. That somebody was going to try to get an answer from her.
The third year quickly flipped her hood on top of her head, hiding her hair and face from decent view before turning her head to get a look at the person. She started down by the person's feet and noticed a kitty. A familiar kitty. "Cuddles?" That also meant... "Louisa? Is that you?"
Louisa snorted once before she squatted in front of Lily and took her wand out, "
Lumos," some light wouldn't hurt. "
Of course it's me." Cuddles was now snuggling at Lily's feet. "
What are you doing here?" They didn't have classes and the common rooms were still locked. The older Ravenclaw didn't want her little friend to be anti-social and hiding from everyone else..
.. unless there was some bully at school who was annoying her? But Lily knew that Louisa was there for her and would help her no matter what it was. Well, it was true that the head girl was a bit too distracted lately with the things at Hogwarts and the study for her NEWTs, let alone the post-Hogwarts plans that seem to be constantly changing, but despite all that Louisa is there for Lily whenever she needed her. Better to hear the girl's answer first though before jumping to conclusions.
