Slipping inside the kitchen, the nervous redhead allowed the portrait of a bowl of fruit to close quietly behind her. She remained at the entrance, however, wringing her hands and looking around; she was perhaps a little nervous that there actually was a Hufflepuff barbeque going on in the kitchens but when her nose didn't corroborate Peeves' story, the Headmistress seemed to breathe a sigh of relief.
Her face still showed anxiety though. "House elves? Algamus? Argyle? Nimma? Schmoooop?"
Anyone? Everyone? Annie took a tiny step closer to the House Elf Zone. "I need to speak with an elf..." Preferably the head elf, really. He was supposed to be in charge here.
