As Ariella and her father entered that station and reached the ever so famous platform 9 3/4 the only thing on Ariella's mind was getting rid of her father. She loved him and everything, but it was bit embarrassing and Ari was pretty sure she knew how to get through...

"Dad it's alright you can go know!" Ari said quietly so she wouldn't draw anyone's attention, "I can do it by myself!"

"Ari it's your first year, your only eleven. I can't just leave you here by yourself!" Her father looked around at the crowded station and rested his hand on her back.

Ariella shook off his hand and rolled her eyes dramatically, "Please Dad!"

Her father looked sceptical for a moment but finally gave in.

"Alright, but be careful!"

"I'm always careful dad!" Ari winked at him and made her way over to the wall.
