J.K. Rowling will be taking part in a discussion for the release of her new book,
The Casual Vacancy, in Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Frederick P. Rose Hall in New York City on October 16. For those who purchase tickets, which will be available beginning September 10, Little, Brown and Company announced, they will get a free copy of Rowling's first post-
Harry Potter book, that the author will also sign. Jo will be joined by author Ann Patchett during the conversation, and will also be answering audience questions.
Please note that this will be the ONLY public appearance Jo will make in the United States to promote the book, as said by the Associated Press.
