Even though Jory had been to a few dinners, he had never ever paid attention to what was done. He now wished he had. He cut the steak into a bite size piece and chewed. Then he tried out the veges. They were all delicious.

The next question came just as Eino was going to eat another piece of the green thing. He quickly, and neatly, put his fork down to raised his hand. "I believe you clink your glass with a spoon to announce that you are done with your food." He said and nodded. Then he glanced at the vegetables sitting on his plate, hoping to have another opportunity to skip them.

Ira just had to signal a waiter to come over when she needed something. So she looked wonderingly at all the different methods suggested. She too decided to share her opinion, She raised her hand up and answered, "Professor, wouldn't the easiest way be to just call or signal to waiter to come over?" She certainly thought it was.

Anyways the meal was sumptuous and she was enjoying it very much!

But it should be generally avoided to snap one's fingers or make a scene that you need their attention. Its kinda rude." Servers are professional people too.

Messer raised his hand "When we are finished with our food, our knife and fork should be placed beside each other on the plate diagonally from upper left to lower right with the knife blade facing inward toward the plate. That is a signal to the waiter that you are finished." he said then lowered his hand.

THIS CLASS WAS TORTURE. For him, at least, witch the food part.

Ooooh, another question? Then Cerulean got another answer, "Your fork and knife should be placed on the plate, not crossed or anything like that, just...next to each other, in a diagonal fashion. Sort of like the tonearm when a record is being played in one of those turntables." Seeeeeeee, he knew Muggle stuff.
