Alyssa took a bread roll from basket and passed the basket on to the person next to her. She then placed the bread roll on her bread plate before raising her hand to answer. "Professor the proper way to eat the bread roll would be break off a small piece of it, place the remaining bread roll back on the plate. Then you take the butter knife and scoop some butter from the butter dish place it on the side of the roll. From that scoop of butter, you take a smear of butter with your bitter knife and spread it on the piece of bread that you have broken off. Then you delicately place the piece into your mouth taking care not to smear any butter on your lips.

One other thing to remember is that the piece of bread should be small enough to go into your mouth without trying to force a big piece into your mouth which might make one look like a squirrel with stuffed cheeks."
