The curly haired, fourteen year old made his way to the DADA classroom. He was looking forward to this lesson because his godfather had told him that it was one of the most important classes he'd have at school. Vigilance Kennedy, don't you forget that. The older man had told him over the summer. So now, the boy couldn't help, but tap his left forearm where his wand holster was making sure that his precious wand was still there.
As he entered, he noticed there was no professor, but he was impressed by the glass desk. Did everyone in the Wizarding world have nifty stuff? He sat in at the front and set his messenger bag beside him. After taking out a parchment and a pencil, Kennedy tapped his forearm again making sure he hadn't dropped his wand on his way in.
Aurora walked into the classroom and glanced around. She was still in a foul mood and she didn't quite know why so she didn't want to be lumbered with sitting next to someone she didn't know. Up at the front she noticed a familiar curly haired head and walked up to it, sitting down beside its owner. She dumped her bag on the floor and produced her green quill, parchment and some ink.
"Hey, Kennedy." she said, taking out her wand and conjuring her favourite green and silver ribbons to tie back her hair.
